Going Full Time RVing

Hello everyone! Our names are Hunter and Lora and we are going to travel the continent in an RV starting late 2016 (October) After we get married! The reason why we already started this site is to gain a small following before we head out and because we are supper existed!
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

After getting engaged in December 2015 we started right off thinking of where we were going to live (whether an apartment, build a house, rent a house etc…) Then we came up across a picture of people truck camping somewhere near the middle of nowhere, (Utah?).We remember thinking how awesome it would be to travel together in a RV and see country. At first we thought that we couldn’t possibly travel, we’re too young, or something… Then we started looking back at apartments and realized that the right time is now.

Things are never going to line up absolutely in our favor, you just have to go for it and make corrections along the way. There’s of course nothing wrong with living in an apartment, but something about spending so much a month just to do the exact same thing the next day, wasn’t exactly appealing to us.  We always loved hiking, exploring, and being in the outdoors, so why not make a lifestyle out of it? At this point we decided to travel and make the necessary corrections along our way!

Sounds like a fun plan! I’m sure it will be a grand time! You probably are already looking into this, but I read an article about photovoltaics and thought of both of you. It might have more costs than benefits, but you also might find some real good use out of it.

Anyways, best wishes as you begin prepping for your adventure!

Thanks Josh! We are looking into them actually! We’d like to put at least two 100 watt solar panels on the roof. Not very much power, but it’ll hopefully keep our batteries charged. Thanks for the input! Hope to see y’all soon!
